For a truly unique experience take a trip back in time with a stay on our 1867 farm settled by the Norwegian immigrant parents of the world-renowned economist Thorstein Veblen. Relax on the porch, stroll through the flower garden, or explore the nearby Big Woods State Park. A delicious breakfast is provided which includes organic yogurt, robust coffee, homemade granola, fresh-baked bread and jams from our own berries. For a tasty snack you'll always find fresh cookies in the cookie jar. We make every effort to provide each guest with a true Norwegian hygge experience of comfort, coziness and quiet--a restorative country retreat on a historic farm.
